Shipping, Receiving, Verification, Returns and Other Policies
These policies reflect your rights related to orders placed though this website.
We do offer expedited shipping, at an additional cost, should your business require greater delivery certainty.
Tanning Buyers Group is committed to reducing costs and to ship effectively and quickly. Please read our shipping and returns policy in advance of placing your order so you can familiarize yourself with our shipping and returning standards.
All orders placed via the order system are immediately issued for fulfillment. During regular business hours most orders placed prior to 2:30pm EST ship same day. Our estimated freight quote system will provide you with an estimated freight total. If, for any reason, there is a variance or exception from the automated quote or an item ordered requires a request for pre-approval you will get a freight quote emailed to you which must be approved in writing via response or other method prior to shipment. For example, bulky shipments or shipments to non-contiguous states may result in a pre-authorization email for approval.
As an authorized distributor of everything we carry, all items are either shipped directly from our warehouses or directly from manufacturers on our behalf when, for example, an item is unique like specific equipment part for your bed or spray unit. Billing is still done through us and no action is needed on your part it will simply come from a different or makers warehouse.

These policies are exclusive and are not to be combined. For example, an order with a combination of tanning lamps and lotions and supplies with be separated into two parts based on which policy applies to a given item. The value of the combined order does not make the order qualify for any unique promotions or discounts that may be effective at time of order.

Most shipments arrive within 3 business days. If you have not recieved your order within 6 business days report it HERE. TBG commonly utilizes third party carriers like FEDEX and UPS who exclusively control delivery dates and times. Our delivery parameters are estimates only the carrier is ultimately the source for detailed delivery information. If you do not have your order within 5 business days please contact us HERE
There is an additional fee to expedite shipping on your order. If you wish expedited shipping please NOTE it in the comments section during the checkout process along with a phone number we can confirm your wishes in advance of shipment as 2nd and Overnight costs can be quite high.
Most items are covered by the estimated shipping systems quotes. However lamps, large, bulky and heavy items DO NOT QUALIFY and will require client pre-approval/authorization prior to shipment You will be billed the approved freight costs for shipping on orders for larger items, such as tube lamps, sunless solutions tubs, parts & equipment or orders that are considered bulk in nature.TBG will use the most cost efficient method of shipment on these items. Shipment of NON QUALIFYING items may be done using UPS, FEDEX, common carrier or similar shipping method to ensure timely delivery with best pricing for your delivery. Non-Qualifying items shipped will be billed at either the noted rate on a specific item or may involve pre-approval by client if no established cost is noted in the items description on the item ordered.Non-contiguous states may incur added costs and longer leadtimes associated with shipping.
Lotion and Beauty Supply Receiving and Verification Policy (excludes lamp, large, heavy or bulk shipments)
When your order arrives you should verify contents. You have 2 business days (EXCLUDES LAMPS see policy below) to report any problems with your shipment. Obvious external damage MUST be noted on UPS or FEDEX when signed for.
- 1) Inspect DELIVERY on arrival and make note of damage if applicable when signing
- 2) Accept DELIVERY
- 3) Take PHOTOS of any damages outside and inside of boxes
- 4) Report issues HERE including a description of issue and any associated images.
- 5) Retain all packaging and damaged items until claim is resolved
- 6) We resolve issues based claim on said report of claim
- 7) Once a claim is processed you will be alerted and any action needed will be detailed at that time
TO QUALIFY FOR ANY REMEDY OR REPLACEMENT when you get your delivery of any purchase under the Lotions and Beauty Supply Shipping, Receiving and Verification Policy YOU ARE REQUIRED to IMMEDIATELY check the condition of the shipment, as well as, assess all shipments for internal breakage. If you hear or suspect and / or see breakage IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO DOCUMENT SUCH DAMAGES ON ANY BILL OF LADING AS WELL AS TAKE REALTIME EXACT DAMAGE IMAGES TO DOCUMENT AND SHOW ANY AND ALL ISSUES AND DAMAGE WITH YOUR SHIPMENT.
Take photos with your phone or camera of any damage and retain all products until any problems are resolved. We may ask for and / or require additional and / or specific photos to qualify for resolution.

Lamps, Large, Heavy or Bulk Shipping Policy
Orders placed that are shipped using our Lamps, Large, Heavy or Bulk Shipping policy will require client pre-approval/authorization prior to shipment and involve a cost to client. Client pre-authorization must be done in writing in response to an email, call or via text if client is unable to access email and timing makes rapid action necessary for faster arrival.
All shipments are shipped using the best method available and may ship via UPS, FEDEX, LTL, Common Carrier or by our company delivery vehicles when applicable. These third party carriers exclusively control delivery dates and times. Our delivery parameters are estimates only the carrier is ultimately the source for detailed delivery information.
All costs associated with delivery of such shipments will be borne by the customer at the pre-authorized rate.
Non contiguous states may incur added costs and longer leadtimes associated with shipping.
Lamp, Large, Heavy or Bulk Receiving and Verification Policy
ACCEPT DELIVERY OF ALL SHIPMENTS and follow the numbered instruction list below. Tanning lamps by their nature are fragile and may be damaged during shipping. When you get your tanning lamp delivery you are required to check the exterior condition of the boxes as well as assess each one for internal breakage by making sure NO BROKEN GLASS SOUNDS can be heard from inside the box on delivery. If you hear and / or see breakage you MUST WRITE A DETAILED NOTE ON THE BILL OF LADING to qualify for replacements.
Additionally you must open and inspect all the contents and verify the working status of the lamps within the 2 business day timeframe as with all other orders.

Here is the procedure for your lamps shipment please follow these instructions

- 8) We guarantee working lamps on arrival
- 9) Once a claim is processed you will be alerted and any action needed will be detailed at that time
Breakage is rare but we have these policies so that clients have a clear path to resolution and to avoid confusion relating to what is and is not covered.
TO QUALIFY FOR ANY REMEDY OR REPLACEMENT when you get your delivery of any purchase under the Lamp, Equipment and Bulk Shipping Policy YOU ARE REQUIRED to IMMEDIATELY check the condition of the shipment, as well as, assess all shipments for internal breakage. Return or Replacement Policy
Due to their nature, defaced items, opened items, bulk orders, sunless solution tubs, lamps, parts & equipment are not returnable. Please verify you are ordering the correct item/quantity prior to completing the transaction.
Item Return and / or replacement is the result of a problem that may occur during transit and is identified during the verification process. Please refer to the applicable verification section to determine what you need to do to report an issue. We need that information noted in the verification policy to handle such requests.
Returnable item ordered that is defective may be replaced or refunded when reported and documented in compliance with whichever verification policy applies to said item as stated on this policy page.
Returnable item mistakenly ordered by salon such returns must be pre-authorized, be in like new and unopened condition, and be given / issued an RA# by us. This item should then shipped by client and returned in new condition within 14 days from original invoice for refund or credit. Some supplies have a restocking fee. If applicable this will be provided at time RA# is issued.

Turnaround time on the Return or Replacement Policy may be impacted by your compliance with information requests by this company. We will do our best to provide rapid service but cannot control delays caused by client response times
TBG Specific Satisfaction Policy
If TBG makes an error, that error will be resolved at no cost to you. Report any errors HERE. We understand the importance to your business of timely and effective delivery.
If an item is omitted from your order due to lack of inventory or discontinuation of the product then no charges will occur and the item will be deemed cancelled. You may reorder that item at a later date or can contact us for a status on a given item as SKUs tend to suffer extended outages which are beyond our control. We may be able to give you an expected date of inventory arrival at our warehouses.

TBG Order Processing Policy
Payment - Payment is due at time of order. We process using many of the major credit and debit cards as well as having ACH services for larger transactions.
Taxes - It is the buyers responsibility to comply with any / all local, state and federal taxing authorities unless tax is collected at time of sale.
Rebates and Manufacturers Programs - All purchases made are eligible for any and all applicable rebate or cashback programs a manufacturer may offer your business. TBG is a fully authorized and honored supplier for every maker listed on our systems for purchase
Tracking - All orders are trackable. As noted in the checkout process you can request tracking during checkout or request it at any time 24 hours after your order has been processed. Our systems update overnight. We will not have same day tracking available but can often provide it at the start of the next day. On occassion the carrier will not scan an item during this timeframe so tracking would be delayed until such time the carrier does it's route scan.
